The gress value of the trade of the port for the year 1921 was Hk Tis. 34.921,344. These fijures constitute a record. They exceed the total of the previous year by Hk. Tis. 6,085.314 and of 1919 by HK. Tis. 6,139,03. It is eatis- factory to note that the increase is shared by every division of trade. The revente also shows an advance on that of 1920 of Hk. Tis. 92,221, or nearly 28 per cent, excluding the amount col- lected as famine relief surtax.
