This
day the Governor (Sir A. E. Kennedy)
was accompanied
the
Acting Colonial Secretary (Basil B. Smith)
and the Harbor Master (Mr Thomsett, R.N.) visited
for
the
purpose of inspecting, two of the
Peruvian Ships now lying
eight
in this harbour, which are wholly engaged
in the Coolie Trade.
The
first Ship visited was the
Juan, of 1,400 tons. The
