Work in connection with the proposal to render uniform the shipping laws of Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland has been proceeding for some time past as a result of the appointment of a committee for this purpose by each of the countries concerned. The recommendations made by tbese committees were last under consideration in December 1921, when representatives of each met at Christiania.
