This photo was taken at the Chicago armory where the 1324. infantry was ordered to mobilize for use of needed in the mine war in the southern Illinois fields.
This shows a beadquarters group in the Chicago armory discussing plans for procedure *Left to right: Captain Iver M. Hanson, plans and training officer, Colonel William E. Swanson, commanding the regiment, and Captain W. P. Hair, adjutant. The regiment is being held in Chicago for use if needed in the southern Illinois coal felds.
