Admiral Sir Lewis Beaumont.

The death is announced of Admiral Sir Lewis Beaumont, G.C.B.,
at the age of 75 years.
I The deceased, who entered the navy as long ago as 1860, had seen much service. He was Commander-in-Chief of the Pacific, 1699-1900, and Commander-in-Chief, Australia, 1901-3. He retired in 1912.
