Chicherin said the interests of the Far Eastern Republic com- pletely coincided with those of the Soviet Government, which was prepared to go to any length to protect that Far Eastera democracy from any attempts on the part of Japanese Imperialists to turn it into another Korea. Unless Japan abandoned that idea, she must anticipate serious complications with Russia in the near future.
The Japanese have written to M. Ebicherin protesting against the reference to Japan in the recent c.ze, saying that Japanese forces remained in Sibria because it was considered the conditions made it unsafe for their citizens. The cote adds that Japan is still under the same impression.
