MORE TROUBLE IN IRELAND
London, Feb. 20.
The recent assertion of Mr. Michael Colline that a coup d'stat was preparing in South Ireland is corroborated by a remarkable manifesto issued by the South Tipperary Brigade of the Irish Republican Army, repudiating the authority of the Provisional Government and IRA headquarters, as inimical to the repablic. A similar revolt has broken out in East Limerick. Devalers, con- tinning has anti-treaty campaign, spoke at Cork, claming that the LR.A. favoured his policy. The IRA are seizing exttis, motors and other goods in South Tipperary on account of unpaid levies, The LRA. at Cork burned Dublin newspapers because the cor respondent alleged intimidation in the appointment of delegates command 02 recommis- for the Ardfheis or All-Ireland Sinn Fein Convention to-morrow, sioning: Lieut. NAVAL ECONOMY.
London, Feb, 20.
In accordance with the policy of economy, the Admiralty în August propose to reduce the number of Admirals allowed on the active list from ninety-two to seventy-seven. It is believed this -step will not affect the three Admirals of the Fleet, namely Admirals- Jellicoe, Beatty and Wemyss, who are surplus to the establishment and were specially promoted for war services, also the four Bear- Admirals seconded for service under the Dominion and foreign Governments.

In an interview with Le Journal the Czecho-Slovakian Fremier
Beces said there was nothing satisfactory to be expected from the Genoa Conference if it was unduly hurried. The programme should be carefully digested. Anyway, no plan for Europe's reconstruc- ion could succeed outside France's, and Britain's, co-operation.—
