I am directed by the Earl of Kimberley to acknowledge the receipt of your letter dated the 28th June, and I am to state that his Lordship would be much obliged if you would draw up and undertake the preparation, the proposed code to regulate the procedure of the Supreme Court of Hongkong;
with the alterations and order that it should be subsequently intended lifting the form you would propose, but suited to the requirements for the institution of that Colony.
