From and after the commencement of This Ordinance and during the continuance thereof, all the Provisions contained in any Laws in force within the Colony relating to the Procedure and Practice of the Supreme Court in its Common Law and Equity Jurisdictions, including in such Term all Acts or parts of Acts of the Imperial Parliament and all Rules or General Orders of Court, shall be and are hereby suspended in their operation so far as they relate to such Procedure and Practice as aforesaid, subject to the Proviso next hereinafter contained; that is to say:
