INDO-CHINA COAL-
The manual production of coal in lado-China on an average is about |650,000. tona, of which some 350,- 000 tons are exported, the re- mainder being kept for home consumption. By far the greater portion of this output, or about 340,000 tons. Is furnished by the mines of Hongay in Tongking, on coast and in proximity to the port of Haiphong. This coul finds a market oven in Japan.
MATCH MANUFACTURING CO. The Ta Chung Match Mami- facturing Co. established in 1913 in Kaifong has a capital of $60,000. It is a private enterprise but the provincial government holds supervisary powers, Sulphur and phosphorus are Imported from Japan and Europe, respectively, but the match sticks are locally produced.
