carry out the scheme by three distinct Ordinances.

The first Ordinance should be confined to
the Constitution and Jurisdiction (Superior) of the Supreme Court, and should consolidate the Enactments on these subjects referred to in the margin of Section 15 of No 6 of 1845 under which the Supreme Court was established.

This last mentioned Ordinance, of which a great portion is no longer in force, might be wholly repealed and re-enacted with the omission of the sections relating to writs of Capias and to all other matters provided for in the new Code.
The section relating to the appointment of the Chief Justice might provide for the appointment of two Puisne Judges when occasion should require.
