Land Board would not exceed the Period of Ten months. Leave usually granted by the Colonial Government, in cases of Sickness which necessitate a voyage to England.
I wish to add that should the Exigencies of The Public Service require my return to Hong Kong at an earlier date, I should be prepared to leave for the Colony at very short notice.
