GIANTS TO HELP THE GLAUCUS, It is reported that the Blus Funnel strs. Airens and Elpenor are going out this morning to endeavour to tow off the Glaucus at high water. If these operations are successful, the Glancus will have to be towed up the river, as she is no longer under steam.
The Glaucus is on her maiden,
voyage, having recently been built to replace another Blue Fannel ship, bernamesake, which, was lost in the war. She is bringing about 2,000 tons of general cargo to this port and bas on board about the same amount of freight for Kobe.
