Yesterday afternoon the Toyo Kisen Kalaba steamer Siberia Maru arrived at Hongkong from San Francisco, vix Honolulu, Japan, Dairen and Shanghai, bringing a total of 161 passengers for this part. There were 47 cabin, 13 second class and 101 steerage passengers. The freight on they vessel amounted to 1,184) tons and included large shipments of specie. The mall on the Siberia Maru was one of 90 bags from all ports.

Notable among the passengers. were Mr. L. E Ensign, waba- ging director of the China Vege table Oil Company, who returned to his homa in Hongkong from a business trip to the United States, and 'Mr. and Mrs. D. W. Rust, who disembarked from the vessel at Shanghai and will come on to Hongkong by a later steamer. Mr. Rust is a member of the firm of Truseon Steel Company, of Hongkong.

The cargo, a good one for the time, contained the following mors important items-400 drams chloride of lime, 353 cases canned mile, 1,900 ingots copper, 500 bags| nitrate of soda, 300 bags of sul- phate, etc. The bullion was 343 bars of silver and four boxes of United States gold coin, the latter valued at £8,150.
