Mr. Teiji Tsubokami, who succeeded Mr. E. Suzuki as Japanese Consul General in Hongkong.
On August 7, an American priest arrived from Loting, with these 21 infants, and was met by the Maryknoll procurator with two automobiles. The babies were the overflow of the non-Christian orphanage at Loting, and rather then see the little ones become castaways, the priest brought them to Hongkong where they are now receiving proper pare.
