The Sinn Fein Outrages in London.
Mr. Short informed Mr. Neil Maclean that 15 men and five woman were detained by the Metropolitan Police as persons. believed to have bean concerned in the outrages of May 15. Eight of the man and five of the woman had since been released, and saran men had been interned ander the Restoration of Order in Ireland Regulations, because they had been found closely concerned with persons in the organisation responsible for the outrages.

LIQUOR CONTROL BOARD. Mr. Macquisten asked the Home Secretary whetber, in view of the increasing popular resent- ment against the continuance of the existence of the Liquo: Control Board, he would take steps to forthwith abolish the Board.
Mr. Shortt said the Government had already stated that they could not undertake legislation on this subject during the present session..
Mr. Macqaisted asked if the Home Secretary was not aware a very large number of members desired to debate and vote upon the Liquor Control Board as" A simple issae, and would not an opportunity be found for this.
Mr. Shortt said he had nothing to add to his previous answer.
Mr. Macquisten asked leave to move the adjournment of the House to discuss the continuance of the Liquor Control Board, bat the Speaker refused to accept a motion as be said, the matter could not be said to be urgent.
