Mr. Jenkin read the affidavit of Mr. Montargis, which-was-to- the effect that from the perusal of the telegram handed to him by the French Consul General and translation of the Bill passed acd by the French Senate Chambers of Deputies, entitled Institution and Transactional Traders between Settlement and other Creditors, he was of the opinion that a meeting of shareholders was being held on July 25th, 1921, for the purpose of passing a resolution sanction- ing an application to the Court fo: a transactional settlement In his opinion it would be to the Ienefit of the creditors and de- pozitars of his bank in Hongkong in await the decision of the French Court as to the granting of such transactional settlement before finally deciding to wind up the bank in Hongkong.
