Some of his artistic precocity the youthful artist doubtless in- Berits, for his grandmother show- ed her ability in this direction in the charraing illustration of one of Lady Glenconner's books, "The White Wallet."
The subject of the picture pur- chased by Queen Alexandra might, indeed, have been sugzeal- ed by a quotation from another of her works, Sayings of the Children."
