As Mr. Hunt's application is accompanied
by a testimonial of recent date from
Mr. Skey, I think he is worthy of
some comment as a candidate for Colonial
Surgeon.
I think he is worthy at least of being "noted".
Reply that We will cause a
note to be made of
Dr. Hunt's application, but that looking to the number
of candidates for this appointment and the strength of their claims, his Lordship would not be justified in
holding out to Mr. Hunt much hope of compliance with
his wishes.
