They also made new gearing to take the place of the original, but before this was fitted on board they had completed their ex- periments, and instead of taking out all the worn gearing and replacing it completely with a set, they installed the "Nodel Drive," on one pinioh shaft, after which the Tassel want on a voyage to Ameriga. This: round voyage was completed with auch satisfactory, results. that a full installation of the Nodal Drive was fitted on both the pinion shafts. The vessel is now ready for service."
