Lam therefore obliged to remain in the Colonial Service. But as many of my siblings, have completed their five years have returned to India and the corps no longer exists as a separate command I shall be compelled to do the work of a Municipal officer in a Subordinate of Police instead of the duties which I was engaged to perform
Therefore trust that the loss which without any fault or oversight of my own I have sustained by entering the Colonial Service will not be overlooked when my application for a transfer to some other colony is taken into consideration
