My Lord,
In terms of the Deed of Settlement of this Corporation, I have the honor to transmit herewith General Staff Yearly Statement to 30th December 1871, shewing the amount of the then debts, liabilities, and engagements, and of the Assets, property, Credits and Securities belonging to the Corporation. Such statement including Account of the Amount of Promissory Notes of the Corporation in Circulation, and the Coin held in the Establishment, the said Statement being authenticated in the usual way.
I shall feel obliged if you acknowledge receipt.
