THE GRANT MONUMENT.
Memorial to General U. S. Grant which has been placed in the Botanical Gardens at the foot of the Capitol, Washington. This mocument is the work of Henry M. Sbrady and has been eighteen years in the making.
TURKISH REBEL CAVALRY.
These troops are a type of the Turkish Rebels under command of Mustapha Kemal Pasha, who have been waging war against the Allies in Asia Minor and Cilicia. They are known as Chetos and are little better than brigende.
