I am directed by Earl Granville,

to request that you will inform the Earl of Kimberley

that

a note has been received from the Danish Minister stating that Mons. Rudolph Jensen has been appointed

Danish Consul at Hongkong,

and requesting that Her Majesty's Exequatur may

be issued

to that gentleman to enable him to act in the above capacity; and I am to request

that you will

move

Kimberley to inform Lord Granville

if there is any objection to the issue of such Exequatur

to Mr Jensen who is understood

as Hong Kong.
