Cries for universal suffrage among the Tokyo citizens are growing louder as the day for the debate of the Suffrage Bills in the House of Representatives approa- ches. On the 6th instant a public meeting was held in every ward, and the principal speakers at these meetings, who were mostly Kenseikai membera, visited one public meeting after another in motor care. During the day 500,000 handbills impeaching the Government for its attempt som Suffrage.
