As a result of a two hours' conversation air. Land Givürge and . Mirand, reached an agreement with reference to German disarmament, reparationa and Allied unity of action. The Alhes decided to proceed immediately with the eatinstion of the amount of reparations to be depanded from Germany who with be invited to send a representative to Brussels with a view to direct conversations on the subject. French circles are favourably impressed with the success of today's pro- ceedings and the agreement will be submitted to the Supreme Council tomOTTOW.

The Conference decided on the incorporation of the Balfour declaration in the Peate Treaty with Turkey providing that Palestine shall become the national home of the Jews, subject to the rights of the Araba and Jewish nationals in other countries. It is understood that the Adriatic question will be settled on the basis that Fiume with the district of Volosea and the island of Cherso shall form a buffer independent State, the constitution of which has not yet been completely drafted. There will be no territorial contiguity between this State and Italian territory. Italy relinquishes ber claims to Dalmatia, but Zara is to become a free city with its owa diplomatic representation. Italy is to have a mandate ores the whole of Albania. The Conference entrusted to Britain the mandates for Mesopotamia and Palestine and to France the Syrian mandate. The Conference is communicating with President Wilson regarding the boundaries of Armenia. requeating him to arbitrate owing to the difference of opinian of the Conference which is expected to terminate on the 28th.
