Mr Hammond presents his Compliments to Holland and with reference to the letter from the Colonial Office of the 4th July is directed by Earl Granville to state, for the information of Earl Kimberley that the Queen's Exequatur empowering Don José de Navarro to act as Spanish Vice Consul at Hongkong has this day received Her Majesty's Signature.
The Notification of Her Majesty's Approval of Don José de Navarro's Appointment will appear in the "Gazette" of the 26 instant.
