We (Shipping and Engineering) regret to report the death at the Victoria Nursing Home on Oct ber 29, of Captain T. S. Vernon, R.N.R.. retired. late master of the s.s. Rotoruo. He had been over 15 years on the. China coast, hav ing served in the Indo-China S.N. Co. China Merchants, Standard LTD Company and several others During the past two months he

suffered from a derangement which necessitated his removal to the mental ward. where he expired.
