The petition, which was filed on October 17. has been made by Chan Sio Hing, of the Commercial Union Assurance Co., Ltd. of Queen's Buildings, and in the petition it is stated that the Com- pany is indebted tp him for the sum of $5,000 which he had de- posited. He made application for the payment, but the Company has failed to pay any part of it. The Company is unable to raise funds and its account at the banks is overdrawn and the banks have refused to allow a further over! draft.
