In doing so you will inform R Stawkins that Lord Pentully is of opinion that there should be appointed in connection with the planning of a Hospital an Architect who is experienced in a work in which Doctors should within certain limits cooperate with Architects for the purposes to be served.

Dr George Buchanan of the Local Government Board, whose experience as a Sanitary physician will be known to R Stawkins, to assist him by advice on the details of the proposed Hospital to the requirements of this Hospital construction.

If R Stawkins undertakes the work, it is considered that he should place himself in personal communication with Mr Robert Rawlinson one of the Assistant Engineers of their Department on any day after the ... convenient to him.
