Forty-eight corporations were registered at the Phillipine Bureau of commerce and Industry during the month of September. One was a foreign corporation apply- ing for local registry, and the remainder were domestic corpora- tions. Ten were rural credit associations. The capital stock of these 48 companies runs into millions of pesos. Additional foreign corporations are applying for registry with the local Govern- ment. Some of them are financed from the United States and some of them from France, Spain, Holland and other European countries.
