SATURDAY'S GAMES..

Large crowds at the Valley on Saturday, saw three very lively

the Navy, games, R G. A Hongkong Club, South China, St. Joseph's and Kowloon all being on view.

The Club game with St. Joseph's was a very light one, and again St. Joseph's showed well in every department. It was left to the ubiquitous Stewart to open the scoring for the Club this year with a fast low effort, and the failure of the other players to get goals was a

great tribute to St. Joseph's defence, which was of a high order. St. Joseph's were well balanced throughout, and played with more combination than the Club who relied too much on individual dashes, but the form shown by McTavish, Reichelmann, Rodger, Railton and Stewart augurs well for the Club's chances when the team is com. pleted for league fixtures. Several new men were tried and Brogson and his partner on the right wing gave distinct promise.
