Mr. White acquitted himself with great credit and he wisely chose selections well within his capacity as an amateur organist. He has an outstanding technique but, as I stated before, his grasp of combination leaves something to be desired. But I bear in mind that Mr. White is not a profes- sional and therefore cannot give the time to the work that others, who have given recitals in the Cathedral, have been able to do. As an amateur, Mr. White is hard to beat, in Hongkong.
