We understand that a large seizure of raw opium was made by Chief Revenue Inspector Wildin, on board, the s.. Hong Wa from Rangoon, the seizure amounting to 200 lbs.
The opium was found concealed in ashes in the stokehold, appar ently ready to be brought ashore during the night.
