NEW BISHOP OF TRURO. The King has been pleased to approve of the appointment of the Rev. F. S. Guy Warman, D.D., Vicar of Bradford, as Bishop of Truro, in succession to the Right Rev. W. O. Burrows, D.D., who has been preferred to the diocese of Chichester. Dr. Guy Warman, who was born in 1872, was educated at the Merchant Tay- lors' School and at Pembroke College, Oxford, where he was a classical scholar. He took a second class in the theological school. And wón the Hall Houghton University Prize. Oz- dained in 1895, he served in curacies at Leyton and at Has- tings until, in 1901, he was appointed Vice-Principal of St. Aidan's Theological College. A year later he became the Vicar of Birkenhead, where he was able to continue his association
