I am directed by the Board of
Trade to state that Her
Majesty's Consul at Batavia has forwarded a Report of a Naval Court, which was held at that Post recently and which resulted in the suspension of the Certificate of Captain Charles Stratford of the "Veronica" for twelve months from the 18th November 1871.
As this Certificate appears to have been granted to Captain Stratford by the Government of Hong Kong a copy is being sent to the Under Secretary of State, Colonial Office.
