existing works and also as to any future works.
If for the purpose of obtaining a full and abundant supply of Water it should be deemed
necessary to provide Reservoirs, or undertake additional Works, a Superintendent of Works might be selected and sent out from this Country unless there is some person already on the spot competent to discharge the duties of that office.
