TRANQUILITY IN SPITE OF, BOLSHEVIST TENDENCIES.

London, April 5. The Times' correspondent at Murmansk, telegraphing on the 3rd instant, says: Comparative tranquillity reigns here although stray shots are invited by walking after dusk. General Maynard is aware of the Bolshevist tendencies in this growing town, which contains 6,000 Russian labourers. They prevented a revolt last week, arresting 20 ringleaders. The health of the troops is excellent. They have good food, entertainments, sports and an ideal climate. The battleship Glory lying in the harbour, commands the town.

The danger from the Bolshevists is greater at Archangel.
