SATURDAY'S GYMKHANA.
A GOOD ATTENDANCE.
To the surprise of one and all Saturday dawned a delightfully bright day, the Clerk of the: Weather being on his good be- haviour. The attandance at the Racecourse was a large one, and it almost looked like an annual Race meeting rather than a Gymkhana. The sun was a bit hot, but the cool breeze that blew in the afternoon made the after- noon a delightful one. There was a run on the cash sweeps, while some good dividends were paid) by the "pari."
The band of the 18th Infantry under Bandmaster Vassalo dis. coursed a capital selection of music.
