Copenhagen, March 23. A message from Berlin, dated the 22nd, states that Alexander Gorbai assumes the Presidency of the Hungarian Soviet.

LONDON PROCESSION OF WOUNDED MEN.
GREETED BY THEIR MAJESTIES.
London, March 22. Led by the Earl of Cavan, ex-Divisional Commander, and the Prince of Wales, the Guards Division, about 10,000 strong, to-day marched through London in the midst of most enthusiastic cheers. There was an enormous crowd lining the lavishly beflagged route in cold bright weather.
A special covered stand was erected at Buckingham Palace from which the Royalties viewed the procession of lorries conveying the officers and those unable to walk, followed by a procession in which also participated all the demobilised Guardsmen.
After the march each soldier was handed a message from His Majesty the King with facsimile autograph of His Majesty's signature, expressing high appreciation of their war records and gratitude for honourable deeds achieved.
ANOTHER LABOUR CONFERENCE.
London, March 21.
A Conference of the Triple Alliance, comprising representatives of the Miners Federation, the National Union of Railwaymen, and the Transport Workers, met and reviewed the whole labour situation, including the threatened strike of failwaymen. The Conference unanimously resolved to approach the Government with a view to removing the deadlock between the Railwaymen's Union and the Railway Executive Committee meanwhile requesting the railwaymen to remain at work during the negotiations and pending a further decision by the Triple Alliance.
THE MAIN DIFFICULTIES.
London, March 24.
The chief difficulty in the railway situation appears to be in persuading the main body of the mer's delegates to accept com- promises. The present break-away is by the hot-headed section.
Mr. J. H. Thomas warned a mass meeting of London railway- men last evening against those who talked of nothing but a strike. He declared that they were not friends, but enemies.
CONFERENCE OF RAILWAYMEN AND GOVERNMENT.
London, March 24, The Press Bureau states:-The representatives of the Govern- ment. Railway Executive Committee and the Railway Unions to-day reviewed the whole of the concessions offered by the Government and reached agreed interpretations thereof.
If the railwaymen's unions ratify terms of the negotiations on the remaining items. the programmes will be continued im- mediately, the Government undertaking that every effort will be made to secure a fair and speedy settlement of it.
