This was in accordance with the usual practice of this Court; and it would seem that a similar course had been adopted in a previous suit for collision, which had been instituted against the same vessel in Hong Kong.

At first the cause seemed to take its usual course, but on the following day, the 4th of May, whilst the examination of the witnesses de bene esse was being taken before the Registrar, it was suggested that he should withdraw the Queen's action, upon which the Proctor for the latter vessel immediately applied for a Warrant for the arrest of "Ara."
