A macus meeting of Republican sanators rejected the proposal to "filibuster" in order to force President Wilson to call an extra session of Congress before he returns from his next visit to Paris, which it has been announced the President decided not to do. As the present Congress ex- pires on March 4 the extra session would be held by a new Congress wherein the Republicans would bare a majority. Despite the rejection of the proposal several senators threatened to Alibuster without the authorisation of the party.
