the precedency of Commodores in Colonies, desiring me to report what precedency was assigned to me at Jamaica.
2. I was invariably placed next after the
Vice Admiral & Chief Justice, no alteration being made in my position
in the presence of Commander in Chief,
I should mention that the next place to
me was assigned to the Colonel on the Staff in command of the Troops, and that in his
