The Supreme War Council decided that in return for the Allies' victualling of Germany the kitar will have to hand over all merchant ships in German or neutral ports for the transport of food supplina whatever their place of origin or destination. There is no question of the occupation of German ports. The question of military intervention in Poland was postponed.
The Council decided that the Avo Great Fowers aball each have five plenipotentiarion, Brazil three, Belgium, Serbia, Poland, Czecho-Storakia, Rumania and China two, Portugal and the States which broke off relations with Ger many one. The question of the representation of Jugo- Stavia and Russia was adjourned. However many delegates a country may have it will only be entitled to one vote. The dominions will be specially represented. Apart from ve the delegat of the Mother country Canada, Australia, South Africa and India will have two each and New Zealand and Newfoundland one each.
The newspapers give prominencs to the statement that the renewal of the German armistice will be made the occasion for stiffer terms owing to the failure of Germany to comply with many previous conditions and the spread of Bolshevism westwards. The "Timas" Paris correspondent Lays: The British Government is supporting the expressed wishes of the Dominions to be represented at the Peace Conference by two delegates as-nation having co-operated in war, thus raising a novel point in the history of the Empire of making it a small society of nations.

- An Esthonian communique dated the ath says: The Esthonians yesterday captured the commander of the enemy's marine troops operating on the coast with three machine gas and other booty. Amsterdam, Jan. 12. Reports from Germany indicate that Bolshevism is spreading in Westphalia and other parts of Germany.
BRITISH SUPER ZEPPELINS.
London, Jan. 13
A big programme of airship construction by the Admir- alty includes airships with a gas capacity of 24 million cubie leet, with a range of eight thousand miles, a speed of 63 to 70 miles per hour, a lifting capacity of sixty tous and * carrying a crew of twenty-five. Plans have been laid for building even bigger ones. The first of these super-zeppelins will be launched towards the end of year-It is stated they were primarily to be built for ses patról and observation work sad to be stationed on the coast. The authorities regard shat the airship posseuses several advantages over aero- planes for long distance journeys, endhyrance, the lifting of heavy weighter and affording passengers greater comfort and sccommodation. The present British airship record is 1,120 miles in the air for sixty-one hours and manned by a crew of flteen.

POLAND'S PLIGHT.
London, Jan. 14. The Times" correspondent at Warsaw, telegraphing on the 19th, says that Poland is becoming desperate. Allied help is urgently needed to save the country being overran by the Bolshevists who are estimated at over twenty thou sand. They are advancing by three railways upon Warsaw. The main Balshevik forces are well equipped and are at Lila and Baranovitchi bat the advance guards are only 170 iles north-east of Warsaw.
