[OTICE IS, HEREBY given →that Bh Extraordinary General Meeting of the above Company will be held at the registered office of the Company, St. George's Building, Chater Road, Victoria. Hongkong, on FRIDAY the 27th day of
December, 1v17, at 12 o'clock NOON when the subjoined. re- solutions which were passed at the Extraordinary General Meet-~ ing of the Company held on the 11th day of December 1911 will be submitted for confirmation as Special Resolutions:-
(1) That it is desirable to
reconstruct this Company, and accordingly that this Company be wound up voluntarily and that Hugh Frank Campbell of St. George' Building, Victoria, in the Colony of Hong- kong, Merchant, be ap pointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding up at a remuneration of one hundred dollars.
(2) That the General Mana-
gers of this Company, be. authorised and requested to form and procure to be ircorporated, a new Com pasy to be called
the China "Light & Power Company (1918) Ltd." (uf which they shall be ap- pointed by Agreement General Managers) with the objects (inter alioj of acquiring the under- taking, business, goodwill, machinery. plant. book- debts and all other sesets whatsoever of this Ccm- pany, and of carrying on business in or near Kow- icon and/or elsewhere if thou ht desirable with Me8516. Shewan Tom es &Co Hongkong, and their successors in business as General Managers so long as the General Managers for the time being (if a corporation) or (if unincorporate firm) any one or more putner or partners in the firm of the General Manegers in- dividually or collectively shall hold not less than one thousand shares of the Company....

orandum and Articles of such new Company Sub- mitted to this meeting be and the same are hereby approved and that the Liquidator be authorised to corseat to the registration of such new Company with such Memorandum and Articles accordingly.
