London, November 14.- The German light cruiser Koenigsberg put to sea on Wednes day with Plenipotentiaries of the Workmen's and Soldiers' Council of the Fleet to meet the British Admiralty's representatives.

Admiral von Hipper, the Caif of the High Seas forces, participates in the negotiations as expert adviser on the execution of the naval conditions of the armistice.

In the House of Commons, in the debate on the vote of credit, Mr. J. B. Clynes, said the control of supplies sad prices must continue until more normal times. In conjunc tion with the United States an Inter Allied organisation had been established to assist the starying enemy. Allies and neutrale had first claim, but victory imposed on us the obligation of supplying the immediate needs of the beaten foc.

Mr. Astor, Secretary of the Food Ministry, said the danger from the American Meat Trust was far more serious than realized, It was a danger to all importing countries. It had branches in the Argentine, Australia and New Zen- land and it controlled fifty per cent. of the available im portable world's supplies of meat. There was going to be a real meat shortage in Europe, but he believed the Inter Allied Food Council would be stronger than the Meat Trist and able to dictate to it.

London. Nov IL Mr. Asquith privately addressed his supporters in the House of Commons last evening. It is understood that he dwelt on the necessity for maintaining the unity of the Liberals which was in no way impaired by the Premier's speech of 12th November.
