The Chinese population is 115444. A few of them attend Christian places of worship.

There are therefore at least 875 Anglicans, 2114 Roman Catholics, and other Protestants.

The number of Anglicans and Protestants generally attending service is considerably below the accommodation; the number of Roman Catholics attending service is in excess of the accommodation.

An Anglican Chaplain (who I suppose performs service in the Cathedral) receives £800.

There are other allowances, though I am not aware that the Roman Catholics have occasionally had building grants.

The Anglican Chaplain receives grants from Army and Navy Fund for services to soldiers and sailors.
