a question by Mr. Holt, states: that during the first half of this year approximately 12,000 men have been released from the Army for work in shipyards. It would not be in the public interest to state how many men had been enlisted into the Army from the shipbuilding and engineering trades, but steps had been taken to give adequate protection to men engaged on essential work in the shipbuilding industry.
