A Dutch White Book contain- ing the correspondence
ex- changed regarding the convoy to the Dutch East Indies has been published. The contents are in the main similar to the statement fasued by the utch Government on June 30. The fact is revealed in the documents that the convoy actually sailed with German. dye tuffs, to which Great Britai toot exception, on board, and was recalled. When the Dutch Government saw that if these dyestuffs remained on board the convoy would be held up by thế British warship with the inevit- able result that the commander- of the convoy would offer armed resistance, it resolved to dis- charged this portion of the cargo.
