Shanghai Maa Killed. News has been received of the death of M. Bacal Jarno, youngest son of M and Mme, Jarno, which took place on March 2, at Mar- sailles, following a severe illness. Suspected Case of Black Plague. It is reported from Oaks that a female operative named Yaman- chi Yone of the Oriental Paper Mill in Toyosaki Oho, Nishinori Gan, Oaska Fo, died of fever recently. The name of the disease ie not stated. Judging from the fact that the body remained in s feverish state for hours after ber death, it is feared that the cause of death was black plague. The body is being examined by the medical authorities of Osaka Fo.
